Maui Wedding Music Video

Executive Summary: Mustang International was pleased to help one of the contacts we’ve made through corporate projects with their wedding reception. We were provided photographs from the wedding in Maui and asked to edit it to a favorite song.

Mustang International from time to time does take on the smaller projects as favors to friends. While simple it approach, this piece is worth showing as it’s a beautiful thing. TRAIN’s “Marry Me” is clearly a great choice, and this video will be shown at the wedding reception scheduled a few days after this video was completed.

As soon as we confirm the information and name of the photographer that was on the beach with them in Maui, we’ll include that information here.

Best wishes to the happy couple!

2011 Easter Testimonials

Executive Summary: Mustang International was asked to produce a specialized set of videos that would drive an entire special service – weaving live music performance together using custom video seques. This video clip was part of that collection of videos.

Mustang International was approached by the music minister of an area church with a request to help orchestrate a media-driven musical presentation for the 2011 Easter Sunday morning service. The videos would provide the seques into a number of musical pieces performed by the church choir. This required the production of a number of different videos, but the POWER OF THE CROSS segment was led into with this video. The testimonials of these church members provided the perfect into to one of the final songs of the service.

Daryl Flood: Coast to Coast Time Lapse

Executive Summary: Mustang International developed a custom, portable, multi-camera timelapse system to produce a fun and engaging coast-to-coast jaunt for a national relocation company.

In 2007 with the burgeoning growth of viral YouTube videos, Texas-based Daryl Flood Mobility Solutions personnel came across a video that intrigued them. It was a coast-to-coast time-lapse video that took only a few minutes to watch. They decided that they wanted a similar video using one of their trucks. After contacting Mustang International, the brainstorming led to final requirements, and ultimately to a very unique production. Mustang International designed and built a customized portable local area network and monitoring system that captured 4 different images simultaneously and stored the media on a terabyte of harddrives – a lot of space for the time. This system then was used for capturing the entire loading of a household in the Boston area and then the subsequent trip from Massachusetts to California.

    Global Networking: Ethne to Ethne

Executive Summary: Mustang International navigated significant technical and cultural challenges to produce one of the most robust internationally friendly DVD projects ever completed on a minimal budget by coordinating a large volunteer base and pushing the boundaries of industry-standard production tools.

In 2004, Mustang International was invited to attend a meeting of Christian missions leaders and media producers to review the possibility of producing a very challenge DVD project. The sponsoring group was a global grass-roots network called Ethne who focuses on sharing the gospel with the seemingly unreachable parts of the world. The goal was to produce a series of videos telling true stories that highlight conversions from “impossible” groups. In addition to coordinating the collection of materials and the production of twelve different videos, each story would need to fully utilize DVD capabilities to support multiple languages – approximately 5 soundtracks and 15 subtitle tracks. Many of those attending seemed unable to comprehend ways to produce this project for less than a million dollars. Within a month, Mustang International was able to maximize the volunteer workforce available and produce a proof-of-concept piece that far exceeded Ethne’s expectations. Over the next 18 months, two DVDs were produced containing and fully developed overview video with an additional twelve stories, all told in Mandarin, Spanish, Indonesian, French, English and a music only track in order to facilitate additional language versions produced regionally. Subtitle tracks were produced in Mandarin, Spanish, English, French, Indonesian, Russian, Korean, Hindi, Portuguese, German, Tagalog, Japanese, Swahili, Faroese, Bengali, Afrikaans, and Tamil. Navigating the many cultural challenges with the languages and volunteers from around the world proved to be a major part of the project. Also, technical challenges were met as well, including the development of custom software to handle shortcoming found in the DVD authoring software.
